According to ancient Egyptian mythology, the underworld was in the west; therefore, they referred him to be the “King of the West.”

Normally, Anubis was represented as a black jackal or a man with a jackal’s head. He was the symbol of death, burial, and protection of the dead.

The article is all about the great history of Anubis and 2 most powerful Anubis Summon Ritual.

it even includes the religious/spiritual role of Anubis in the Egyptian faith, his cult, and the abilities that were considered to be his.

The article also talks about the ways one could relate and working with Anubis in the present time such as through Anubis Summon Ritual and prayers, ceremonial invocations, and rituals for protection, guidance, and transformation.

History of the god of death and afterlife

Anubis is the god of the dead and afterlife, the one who judges the deceased, and the one who buried the dead.

He was the most powerful god in Egyptian mythology, and he was worshiped in the necropolis and everywhere that had something to do with dying.

One of the most fascinating points about Anubis in mythology is the different views on his parents. According to the oldest myths, Anubis is the son of Ra.

On the contrary, the Coffin Texts, created during Egypt’s First Intermediate Period, present different versions, some of them naming Hesat or Bastet as his mother.

Furthermore, Anubis is said to be the son of Ra and Nephthys in a different myth. That’s the main difference in some Anubis Summon Rituals and prayers.

In that one, Nephthys is deceiving Osiris by pretending to be Isis, seducing him, and as a result, Anubis is born.

These different stories of origin reflect the complicated and changing role of Anubis in Egyptian myth.

Duties and working of Anubis

Anubis is the deeply connected with the ancient Egyptian practice of mummification, thus acquiring the name imy, ut, that is, “He who is in the place of embalming.”

Also, he was referred to as khanty, she, netjer, or “He who presides over the pavilion of the god, ” an indication that could signify the area for embalming or the burial chamber of the pharaoh.

His connection to the conservation of the dead was very important in the Egyptian burial rites. This makes people to look for working with God through Anubis Summon Ritual and prayers.

In the Osiris myth, Anubis was in charge of embalming the body of Osiris after his death.

Some versions of the story even imply that Anubis assumed the duty of getting hold of Osiris’s organs after his brother Set killed him.

By so doing, he supported Anubis as the patron god of embalmers, a god who reigns over the most sacred burial and preservation practices.

On the other hand, Anubis, besides mummification, was the one who led the dead souls into the afterlife.

One of his most admiring roles was during the Weighing of the Heart ceremony that judge a soul and allows her entrance into the Duat, or the afterlife.

Some Egyptian Anubis Summon Ritual claims it can help you to look into afterlife.

In this very important part of the Book of the Dead, Anubis is shown to be the one who executes the measuring of the heart of the dead person and ascertaining that the weight is compared with the feather of Maat, the goddess of truth and justice.

In the case that the heart was lighter than the feather, the soul was regarded as pure and permitted to move up to a restful afterlife.

In a situation where it was heavier, that is, depicting the heaviness of sin or wrongdoings, the soul was eaten by the terrible goddess Ammit. Thus, the ritual was a checkpoint for the spirit, with Anubis being the one who most directly influenced the soul’s fate.

The female version of Anubis is the goddess Anput and she, most of the time, is his wife.

She is just like him associated with mummification and funeral rites, and both of them symbolizing the guiding of the dead and guarding their progression to the afterlife as one of the most sacred tasks.

Powers and abilities of Anubis

In his equally important and spectator role as supervisor of the burial and embalming, Anubis had a very special function as the “road opener” of the North. This is the main direction you need to know during working with Anubis Summon Ritual and prayers, offering.

The characteristic was similar to that of Wepwawet (or Upuaut), who was recognized as the road opener of the South.

The importance of Anubis in the Northern territories was similar to that of Osiris, the one to whom he referred along with Upuaut as the gods of the realm of the afterlife.

His power over the northern voyage to the land of the dead made him a very sacred and necessary personality in the spiritual geography of ancient Egypt.

Embodiment, wise, Anubis was the divine embalmer who had the sacred duty to guard the priests of mummification.

He was highly exalted for the support he gave to Isis in the embalming of Osiris and being so he was the one to carry out the ritual evisceration of the dead.

He also was initialled such as “He who presides over the divine tent”, the mummification area and “He who is over the bandages, ” both showing his close connection with the body preservation process for the afterlife.

On the one hand, Anubis was a very powerful figure related to death. This make more powerful in Anubis Summon Rituals.

In the Book of the Dead, we learn that seven spirits for his protection always accompanied him; these were Amset, Hapy, Duamutef, Kebehsenuf, Maa, an, tef, Jerybakef, and Mejenti, irti.

The spirits supported him not only in the supervision of the dead being led through the journey but also the keeping of the tomb and the dead person’s body.

One more feature of Anubis’ personality was the fact of his strength to both cast and defend against curses.

Being a protector of the dead and a graves’ defender, Anubis was the subject of protection and revenge as well as curse enforcement by being invoked in the amulets, tomb paintings, and written spells.

His linkage with death was so heavy that at one time he was considered to have the power to bring dead souls back to life, which, however, had to be done via rituals, sacrifices, or a payment of just how much was required.

This is the primary reason why magician prefer Anubis Summon Ritual for death and afterlife insight.

The tying of resurrection with death under his aegis indicates his simultaneous function as a death’s protector and an executor of destiny in the afterlife.

Why work with Anubis the god of afterlife?

Anubis is commonly identified as the caretaker of the dead, but he is the one who accompanies the dead people beyond the afterlife as well.

Besides being the protector, he also acts as a guide and a source of strength for people going through tough times or who are out of the path and wandering.

Sources say he might assist you in feeling secure at times when the planet seems insecure, thus giving you a sense of stability in going through those difficult times.

This is another one reason why people seek for some easy Anubis Summon Ritual and prayers.

The point is that he is at times portrayed as the keeper of wanderers among other things.

In my opinion, this doesn’t only relate to persons that have physically travelled to foreign land but those who are journeying through life as well.

That is, those who still haven’t found out what they really want to do, don’t understand their direction, or have gotten into a bad situation.

So, do you know if it were you, how Anubis would have been the guide you sought when you were lost through life, alone, in existential crisis, or uncertain about the direction you were taking?

Anubis as a guide is wonderful in the sense that he is a caregiver. He doesn’t evaluate or require your full submission.

Oppositely, he grants you the privilege to make your choices. You can explore more in Anubis Summon Rituals and offering.

He shows you the paths of your life and even then, he is always with you, ready to offer a word of wisdom at the times you need it most.

His support is there but it doesn’t happen in a way that forces or compels you to accept it, it’s just a quiet, steady presence as you make your way.

If you want to change, desire the spiritual development to be your priority, or simply want your life to go through its journey of transformation, then Anubis is the perfect companion for you.

The most wonderful aspect of his being is the paradox of both ultimate preservation and complete change in him, he is the guardian of the old, but also the one who brings the new.

He stays very calm and keeps to the middle ground, unlike most deities, that is why he is a very good guide for people who are feeling impulsive or overwhelmed.

Perhaps his calm, balanced personality is what you need as an anchor to bring you clarity in times of uncertainty.

Invocation ritual for Anubis the god of death and afterlife

First of all, if you want to start a ritual of calling Anubis and working with God of afterlife through Anubis Summon Ritual, the best place would be in front of his alter or a graveyard if you are bold, but you must have the authority to do that or else it is illegal.

The space you have chosen will be your ritual altar, so it has to be a quiet and respectful place.

Begin the witchcraft by drawing a pentagram on the ground and putting Anubis symbols on each of the points. It will be like a bridge linking you to his power and welcoming his arrival.

One of the requirements for this Anubis Summon Ritual and worship is that image of Anubis be in front of you.

It may be a statue, a picture, or even his logo, but it is the one that holds your attention while you visualize.

When you are prepared, start by positioning yourself comfortably, closing your eyes and entering a state of meditation.

When you have arrived at your tranquil and peaceful state of mind, you can now start to picture Anubis.

Imagine his character, his jackal, headed form or the strong, protective, and loving energy he stands for.

Sense the emotions that would be felt if you were very close to him, such as awe, reverence, and the feeling of comfort or safety.

Permit yourself the opportunity to become fully engrossed in his presence, experiencing the weight and importance of his guidance during Anubis Summon Ritual and prayers.

After you have made this spiritual and soft emotional link, utter the following words (or transform them into your own personal incantation and then say it):

Hail to thee, Anpu, Neb-ta-djeser!

Please, reveal yourself to me!

O! Protector of the dead, of the spirits,

O! Mighty one,

O! Master of secrets and ruler of the Underworld,

O! Pharaoh of those in Amenti,

O! You who decides the unworthy,

Please, reveal yourself to me!

My protector, my guide, my god who I serve,

Come to the earth!

Please, reveal yourself to me and guide me through the dark!

Hail to thee, Anpu, Neb-ta-djeser!

Evocation of Anubis Summon Ritual and prayers

  • Before performing this Anubis Summon Ritual and evocation process, you have to devote three consecutive nights of prayers to Anubis. During the prayers, provide Anubis with offerings.
  • Wear a nice garment, preferably black or black and gold ceremonial robes.
  • Paint or draw a pentagram on the floor with red chalk or paint and then draw a circle around it in a way that it touches each of the 5 points of the pentagram. At the base of the pentagram, add one of Anubis’s symbols to each of the points.
  • Put a crystal related to Anubis, hematite, or black obsidian in the middle of the pentagram.
  • Take a black candle and carve in Anubis (mostly an ankh with circles at the ends) on it, light it, and place it in front of the pentagram.
  • You can sit on the floor at the time of Anubis Summon Rituals, in case of the candle opposite preferably. Start your practice by meditation. Feel the energy flow through you and picture Anubis.
  • Utter the magic words: Anpu, Neb, ta, djeser, embrace me, your follower/ Anpu, Neb, ta, djeser, heal me, protect me, be my guide in this human life/ Help me see the truth behind the curtains/ Let’s unite, I’ll let you help me/ Anpu, Neb, ta, djeser, let’s unite/ Show yourself, protector of the dead/ Blessed be!
  • Say the following statement to end the ceremony: Blessed be/ Anpu, Neb, ta, djeser, thank you for your guidance/ Blessed be/ Anpu, Neb, ta, djeser, give my thoughts back, guide me into the world of living/ Blessed be

Use wine to clean the crystal and put out the candle by pouring wine over it. Then, clean your ritual space and go back to your usual activities during most powerful Anubis Summon Ritual and offering.

How to know Anubis is listening you?

When approaching Anubis—or any deity, really—respect and sincerity are key. He’s not a force to be summoned casually, and he certainly doesn’t tolerate insincerity.

The people he works with are those who understand the depths of their own hearts, including the darker aspects of themselves. They are ready to confront their shadows, even if it’s painful.

If you’re seeking his guidance, you should already know why you’re calling on him. He’s not a comforting presence for those who fear death, spirits, or the unknown.

Rather, he is for those who are prepared to embrace transformation, face their fears, and grow from it. Approach him with genuine intentions and an open heart, and you’ll be met with his wisdom.

As with all deities, the signs Anubis sends you will be deeply personal. The way he communicates will vary, but there will always be a connection to your life and your situation.

Signs can be physical or non-physical, and they’re tailored to you. You might notice animals related to Anubis appearing around you—like jackals, dogs, leopards, or even foxes.

Other symbols tied to him might show up too, like the ankh, bones, or the Eye of Horus.

These symbols may manifest in unexpected places or situations, like in your dreams, in passing imagery, or even during moments of meditation.

Sometimes, the signs are subtle, like a sense of intuition, a sudden thought, or a feeling that something significant is happening.

One thing to note is the combination of black and gold. If you suddenly feel drawn to these colours, it could be a sign that Anubis is trying to communicate with you.

It’s also worth paying attention to any visions or dreams that involve themes of death, mummification, or the afterlife. These may be messages from Anubis himself, urging you to explore these areas of your life.

Anubis is intimately tied to death, mummification, and embalming, so if you have unresolved fears, traumas, or questions surrounding death or the afterlife, this could be the perfect time to seek his guidance.

His energy can help you process those fears, confront old wounds, and offer clarity and healing around the theme of mortality.

If you’re ready to dive into these deeper aspects of life and death, Anubis is a powerful guide for that kind of transformative journey.

Offering to God Anubis

Feeding a god with food one has made is an act of love, a gesture that is similar to saying “thank you for your help.”

But these actions should also bear the stamp of genuine love and the right intentions.

In the case of Anubis, start with his titles, “God of the Holy Land, ” “Lord of the Place of Embalming, ” “The One Who Presides Over the Divine Tent, ” “God of Mummification, ” “God of Death.”

This would be the ideal starting point as you can have an idea of the offerings he would like based on his names.

For instance, offerings that are related to mummification (mummified dolls and figurines), highly aromatic incenses (myrrh, frankincense), cypress oil, and acts of service for the dead, put flowers on a stranger’s grave or say a prayer for them.

Bread and beer are the main offerings for every Egyptian god and it would be a good start as well.

Anubis and his Judgement
Anubis and his Judgement

Being the father, like figure, he wishes that you get happiness as well so he might want something like that from you. What about talking, writing a poem or a song, singing, painting, or drawing for him?

From personal experience, I can say that he is a lover of strong liquor and dark chocolate.

As he is the jack, headed God, your dog’s collars or toys would be great as well. Or maybe help at the nearest dog shelter in your town, be nice to street animals, or volunteer at an orphanage (he is also known as a protector of orphans).

Even better, Ankhs or sculptures with him are good offerings, and especially ankhs are what he likes.

Why don’t you buy one for yourself and wear it for some time before handing it over to him so that it can take on your energy?

The Ankh is significant as it was the main symbol of his, since it denotes the breath of life and the soul’s journey.

What Anubis like and not like?

Anubis is a serene and reflective god, however, that doesn’t imply he will put up with stupidity or bad jokes.

He might be your utmost security guard or your most terrible enemy.

Among his traits of being vengeful, if you throw disrespect at him, do not be surprised when he retaliates.

In contrast, Anubis is very caring for the weak and defenceless who require protection from the evil world.

He loves to let you make decisions and does not like to have control over those he works, but if he is unambiguous about something, it is for your own good to listen and follow his lead.

Working with God Anubis summon ritual conclusion

It was common throughout history that the jackals led the Anubis cult, most of all the Monsour family, who for many years have been the ones taking care of his body and doing all the needed ceremonies to keep him in a sleeping state if, by any chance, he was not available.

They used to wake him up from his sleep whenever they needed his help.

Kayla and Muriel Monsour made a go at it in 2016 to have Anubis awakened from his slumber but the ceremony got awry because of Kayla’s impatience.

The impaired Anubis Summon Ritual was the reason for Anubis to freak out thus causing, in the same incident, the death of Kayla.

First of all, the ritual they aimed to perform was almost identical to the Rite of Renewal, but it was necessary to use a different chant and change the spice composition slightly.

As was the Rite of Renewal, this one was very complicated and was demanding lots of potion making and magic skills.

Everything had to go precisely if any part was done incorrectly Anubis would awake in a partial state, being stuck between waking and dreaming, hence, his furiousness would be triggered.

People have not seen the total number of steps of the Anubis Summon Ritual and ceremony but it is pretty much the same as the Rite of Renewal.

The offering elixir they used in the ritual was made of a complicated mixture of materials that were also used in the Rite of Renewal but in different proportions.

Among the most important objects in the ritual was a dagger made of bronze, named the Blade of Life Everlasting.

This dagger was used for the bloodletting part, which was a vital step in the ritual.

The ritualist would then be allowed to move 10 paces away from the sarcophagus towards the buried place of Anubis.

This is one of primary part of working with him through Anubis Summon Rituals, prayers and offering.

The blood was then used as a sacrifice and at the same time, the incantation was read which was the first action after the offering.

Although the different versions of the Anubis summoning ritual are many, each of them is very careful and precise.

As in the case of the tragedy involving Kayla, even a minor error can result in catastrophic consequences.
